Coronavirus and The law of Subsumption
I want to write a few words — addressed equally to each one of the twelve signs of the zodiac — about Coronavirus and what is known in astrological circles as the Law of Subsumation.
Coronavirus has fractured the very concept of normality and wrought unbelievable havoc and dislocation to every family in the world. So why was it not foreshadowed in every person's natal horoscope? How did it apparently creep up on humanity without warning? You have a right to ask.
The answer is complex and requires some knowledge of astrology. But to reduce it to it's every basic we must focus on two very different kinds of astrology: Mundane and Genethliacal Astrology.
Mundane Astrology is the analysis and synthesis of planetary symbology in the context of worldwide political, social and economic potentialities. The “macroscopic” perspective for want of a better phrase.
Conversely, Genolithical Astrology is the analysis and synthesis of astrological symbolism on the intimately personal and individual level. A “microscopic” street level interpretation of the trends, opportunities and potential challenges which manifest themselves daily.
The Law of Subsumation basically attests to the obvious fact that an individual's life and future can be swallowed up by cataclysmic national events (which have their own Mundane Horoscopes).
For example every fatal casualty of WW1 and WW2 would not necessarily have had their demise foreshadowed in their Natal Horoscope. Why? For the good reason that if the political and social imperatives extant at that time had been addressed by negotiation and compromise — instead of aggression and bloodshed — untold millions of lives would have been spared.
In effect, Mundane Horoscopes are more powerful than Natal Horoscopes. The greater nullifies the affects of the lesser.
Put it this way: you and I have free will. Therefore, we can influence our own future by the choices we make. Free will enables each one of us to chose between actions either wise or foolish. Having decided our course of action we must be prepared to reap the harvest of what we have chosen to sow. Instant Karma.
However, when an elite band of blinkered politicians make all the big decisions and get it wrong, it's the innocent who do the bleeding.
Therefore, we must learn a lesson from the generations who survived the trials and tribulations of WW1 and WW2 because we are currently engaged in fighting World War Three.
The enemy we are fighting is a potentially deadly virus. Like the generations before us we must keep on keeping on. No matter how vulnerable and frightened we feel we must not lose our humanity and compassion. Both Love and Life must continue unabated.
Consequently, when I sit down at my computer to write my astrological predictions I'm going to deliberately ignore the big-picture and double-down on the little things of life that really matter to each one of us.
We are in this together, but we will endure and survive.
God Bless and protect you all.
