Go placidly amidst the noise and haste and remember the peace that silence brings,
Such wisdom shall come thereby so that your soul its song may sing.
Be on good terms with everyone - your truth quietly tell,
Listen to those you feel are less than you, for they have their story to tell as well.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons - they are vexations to the soul
And may, indeed, impede you on your journey to be whole.

Never compare yourself to others, lest vain or bitter you become -
There’ll be always those lesser or greater - remember, you are not the only one.
Enjoy your every achievement - revel in every plan
Realise this is God’s dearest wish for each and every man.
Nurture the gift you have, however humble this may be
For, in the changing tides of fortune, it is the one thing you may always see.
In business be always cautious, for trickery may be found
Yet, allow this not to blind you to the many virtues that abound
Reach always for the hero, lying deep within,
Never feign affection - be yourself through thick and thin.
Do not be cynical, should ever Love arise
For, it is as perennial as the grass that grows beneath the skies.
As the winding path of Life becomes shorter with the years,
Step along it proudly and not with bitter tears.
Build a strength of spirit that will support you through hard times
Yet, focus neither on disenchantment nor ill imaginings of all kinds.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness -
Remember the Power with Hand outstretched in loving tenderness
Be kind and gentle with yourself - you are a child of all Creation,
No less than the trees and stars and the peoples of each nation.
You have a right upon this wondrous Earth to dwell -
The Universe is unfolding as it should - and is doing so for you as well
Be always at peace with God - whatever you perceive Him to be,
Be diligent in your duties, for a gentle calm
Shall thus embrace you, that everyone shall see
Keep at peace with your soul, for it is a Holy shrine
And, in the lives of those you touch each day,
You will leave uplifted hearts behind
And remember that this Earth - for all its drudgery and broken dreams -
Is still the most wondrous Creation that there ever could have been.
