WHAT TRUTH IS THERE IN THE MULTITUDE OF STORIES about ghosts, angels (with wings or without) the Watchers, Messengers, Beings of Light from other dimensions and giants too? Did these entities really exist? Do they still? Many mysterious stories persist. If we delve a little deeper, lift the dusty shroud that covers ancient civilisations, we find irrefutable records on clay tables and scrolls - now interpreted - telling of intriguing historical events. History was recorded for us by learned men who lived thousands of years ago.
If we follow the faint footsteps of angels along the sands of time, we come – eventually - to a vast ocean of knowledge, where many strange entities dwell. In opening our minds to the possibility and the ancient records of previously hidden history, we find ourselves diving into an ocean of knowledge.
We have the angel (without wings) who walked alongside Tobias as he travelled across mountainous terrain to meet his intended bride. In the Apocrypha, the angel (Raphael: Healer of the Lord) who was his companion on the long journey, taught Tobias many things about healing. In particular, the Messenger explains to Tobias how to use parts of a fish to heal the eyesight of his grandfather.
In the story of two angels (again without wings) who went to warn Lot of Gomorrah’s and its inhabitants impending doom, we hear how beautiful the men were, and as Thomas Cahill aptly explains to us in his book The Gifts of The Jews, how the male population of Gomorrah feverishly lusted after the visiting men, declining Lot’s daughters offered by the father in lieu of their demands to allow lecherous access to his illustrious visitors.
In addition, the Old Testament recounts how the angel Gabriel, (Luke 1 26:38) visited Mary who had never known a man, telling her she had found favour with the Lord and would bear a child – a Son.
Five thousand years ago, (i.e. 2,000 AD plus 3,000 BC) at a time when Britain was still joined to France, its inhabitants could trek the ancient Ridgeway in the Cotswolds across to Europe to trade their sheep. It was a time, before the Channel flooded through, when the historical Deluge came about. At that time, Archaeologists now affirm, advanced civilisations were already blossoming in many parts of the world, e.g. Sumer, the Indus Valley and Egypt, China and the Americas.
Archaeologists have unearthed ancient libraries, some in Egypt and Arabia. Amongst the numerous clay tablets they found there are writings in Cuneiform text which have now been translated by modern-day experts. They tell of a time long ago, of brothers at war with one another, of the elite, of sky boats, celestial battles, an evil wind, (nuclear weapons?), rockets and cloud-borne chariots, those who from the sky came, of infidelities, genetic engineering and artificial insemination. The elite, (those who from the sky came) considered superior beings, were believed to be god-like emissaries. One of them was the goddess, Inanna. (A statue has been found of her depicting her equipped as an astronaut).
