Here is a thought; Why do psychics, mediums, healers who have been caught out for cheating still find work on television and people still pay good money to attend their evenings etc? Cheating to me can never be excused and is totally wrong in the name of truth. There are plenty of videos on youtube showing them being caught out and one video showed three well known mediums caught out in one show filmed for BBC3. It annoys me that the careers of psychics, mediums and healers continue to flourish and gives great sustenance to the Sceptics! Surely, if you are caught out cheating that should be the end of it! Who should we blame for the continuation of their careers after being caught out, TV or the people who are willing to accept them?

Hi Jackie, overlooking dishonesty because they get some things right, how bad is that? 'Filling' in the name of spirit is not acceptable. If people are willing to 'overlook it' what does it say about them?

I believe in many cases these people have got a gift, however, if a psychic has chosen to take money for using their gift then they are expected to perform. It is not possible to force answers from spirit or to force messages to come through .. so perhaps at times fillers are used by these people as they are under pressure to perform. Because they have had some things right and had some real messages people can and will overlook the crap they sometimes deal out.
People are so desperately seeking answers and the truth about who and what we all are, and the "afterlife" having a deep longing to be close to spirit even if they do not realise or ubnderstand the attraction themselves.
So yes they are prepared to overlook what I call fillers, and of course there are the blatant cheats who use spirituality as a tool for them selves .. that is just SELF at work... not spirit.

it is an inexact science, there is no question about that. Blatant cheating caught on film doesn't leave much room for excuse does it? I cannot believe the amount of people I have spoken to who defended this kind of thing. They seem to think it is ok! A little bit of cheating for the camera. But no right minded, right thinking person would think or accept that would they? Surely!

I quite agree, the problem it gives the genuine meduims, psychics and healers a bad name too. There are so many good psychics out there and they too get bad press.
I think anyone caught cheating should be banned from TV and if people decide they want to pay good money to see them live or have a 1 to 1 consultation with them it is their choice.
It is a bit of a minefield out there and I suppose even the best psychics get off days.

Hi Terry,

hope you are well. Money can never be a replacement for truth. What people forget is that the good honest people get tared with the same brush, especially by the Sceptics. So if anyone doesn't agree with people cheating and taking peoples money along with it they should voice that opinion. Just perhaps then honesty will out!
