All forms of life require seeding on earth.
That is, although each of us has a single individual identity, our genetic inheritance comes from two parents. Even the egg needs fertilising first, before the chick hatches out. But our spirit or soul was present before the process of conception by our parents, followed by our birth later on. So this is the idea behind the ''virgin birth.'' It has nothing to do with conception, but rather with our prior existence as eternal spirit.
So our individual self while incarnating on earth has a hidden and quite complicated background and composition. We carry the inheritance from our parents, with the combined features and tendencies from eye colour and blood type to physique and possible illnesses. Then we also incorporate the tendencies from our previous incarnations, if any, and possibly good or bad influences and memories (or ''karma'') built up from them. Then again we have God's divine spark of love-intelligence, the immortal on-going part of us within which is contained the energy of our total existence, and which continues to develop and improve in quality over lifetimes. We should accept and embrace that love within, and share it with all creation. This is why we need to love our self, rather than despise our existence when depressed.
Those who are new to incarnating on earth live in fear, and so may act cruelly, defensively, selfishly and even become evil, mostly through ignorance. But this is not a permanent state for them. Life is not an eternal battle between the forces of Good and Evil, as some religious sects believe, personifying the bad as Satan. The darkness of evil is just ignorance and lack of light. There are not two forces in the Spirit World, only one, the Love of God, or the Great Spirit's good intent. Most of our time we are unaware of these undercurrents within which we have to map our way through the universe. But the belief that some absolute force called Fate, Destiny or even ''The Universe'' has it in for us, giving us a hard time when there is a period of stagnation and recession, as at the present moment - this is not a valid assessment of reality. There is no such intentional force, and no such malicious or negative entity. These are all appearances, manifestations of our own fears, or passive inability to act. The real existence we take part in is the unifying force of Divine Love in the universe, sometimes known as ''All That Is,'' and it is only when we move away from it, or deny it, that negative occurrences take place.
There certainly are influences that can affect us, such as the phases of the moon and the position of the stars, and on earth, there are ley lines and high and low energies in buildings and on former battle sites and in such places as Belsen, Dachau and Auschwitz. We have to be aware and sensitive to them and know when to walk away from them without their affecting us negatively. We can act positively against such forces. It is unwise to be passive and do nothing until the ''influences'' change. We must act now, whatever the conditions may be, rather than become a fatalist and wait for change. This is our ever-present task in this and every lifetime, to live in the present moment, and to use all our talents and resources to take positive action. In order to be a beneficial presence in the world, rather than just a do-gooder, which is a vanity, ego trip, we need to be good listeners, throwing our own agendas aside to look at the whole picture of the world around us, showing all the unfairness, poverty and inequalities as well as the successes and prosperity. Then, with that wide perspective, our actions will be effective for all, not just narrowly self-serving.
Above all, we can gain stability in our lives by realizing the immortal nature within us. In that way, we will have meaning and purpose in our life, make use of all influences, both genetic, past-life, spiritual and those from the universe. We can't avoid them, but we can channel them, check them, reorganise them or accept them without destroying us.
This lifetime is not our only existence but just one stage in the ongoing spiritual journey. Having this outlook and knowledge of our immortality, we become beneficial presences and radiate good energy in the world, which dissolves any negative fate or destiny, allowing us to act responsibly and positively to bring good results and eventually peace on earth for all. If everyone was aware of their immortal nature, there would be stability in the economic, political and social life of each country in the world, and there would be no further contemplation of war. The crime rates would fall, and life on earth would become more secure, not quite paradise on earth, but a pleasant place to be.
The moral of all this is to ACT NOW, Otherwise, to wait for favourable circumstances and influences might mean waiting
until Doomsday, after many more lifetimes of inaction. This mean more than living fully up to the last day of our life, as if we are going to live forever. We DO live forever. whether or not we are fit or frail in health, have a terminal illness (from which we may very well recover) or live in times of war, terrorism and unrest, because we will continue on, fit and healthy in the Spirit World, where there is no illness, and probably we will be in good health in other future lives, too.
We are fulfilling our destiny firstly by being conscious and aware of all life in and around us. Then, as we use our intelligence,
and all our other attributes, working and playing whole-heartedly involved in life, that will enable us to achieve our goals and realise our potential. We will be using our will-power, our particular talents and skills and other personal qualities, directing them actively into leading our life, following leads, communicating with and relating to other people, planning and carrying out a career, hobbies and interests, and generally leading a full and useful life. meeting interesting people, and above all, giving and finding love in all its forms, in relationships and family life, and in the same way caring for animals, wildlife and the ecology.
Whatever our faith, beliefs or philosophy of life, as a religious person or an agnostic, atheist, humanist, or existentialist, we need to be active, not passive. But that being said, we should not blunder and bludgeon our way through life without listening to and caring for others. We act best sharing rather than hoarding, giving rather than taking, loving rather than hating, and if we must judge, judging ourselves first before anyone else.
With regard to health and healing any situation, person, or tackling a disease, what take place, in any effective healing is a harnessing of the natural love energy which runs the universe - remember, that love is ''All That Is'' - Love and the Universe are one and the same thing. Love is the source of our being. If we were all in tune with it, there would be no illness. Love just IS. It cannot be willed or directed by the individual human mind.
If we want to help heal someone, there is a simple three-stage process to follow.
1. Firstly, we impartially review the patient's file, read their aura, or review the details given us, and look at the person(s) and situation involved, in whatever way we can, as the details are presented to us, in full, or just briefly. In any event, the spirits helping us will know all the details !
2. Secondly, we work on ourselves, and our own thoughts, emotions and reactions, and say an appropriate prayer or mantra
such as the Eastern Church's perpetual prayer (Kyrie Eleison - Christ have mercy (on me, a sinner) - or Dr. Hew Len's four-part prayer ''I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you,'', or Dr. Thomas Hora's Prayer of Beholding - ''I behold ..............(patient's name) as embraced by the love of God.''
3. The final third step is to let go of our prayers and thoughts about the person or situation, and release it all back into the universe, or into God's care, if you like to put it that way. The good intent is already performed before we started, and the Spirit World is quite aware of what is going on. We ourselves cannot dictate the outcome, because we can never compute all the implications , and strings and threads of all the conditions, history and circumstances involved. We have to trust the process. That is how healing will occur, if it is ''in the books'' to take place. Acceptance, Assurance and Trust, are some of the keywords to bear in mind, with healing work, together with Gratitude, Peace (a calm mind) and above all, Love.
The third article will offer some suggestions on how to live our lives more consciously out in the world. We can learn to listen to, observe, appreciate and touch the life around us more fully. Then we can take these enhanced skills with us into the Spirit World, and use them there to enrich our future lives.
